Elite Robots secures 3,000 cobot units order, confirming its stellar rise in the cobotics industry!

October 17, 2023

Elite Robots has recently closed a game-changing deal with a leading Chinese corporation. The order, which accounts for a whopping 3,000 units of collaborative robots, underscores the robotic manufacturer’s rapidly growing status as a key global cobot provider.

This milestone is also indicative of a broader trend: cobots are becoming increasingly attractive to large-scale manufacturing by major corporations, positioning them as the go-to alternative to traditional industrial robots.

Cobots Ramping Up

The dynamics between collaborative robots and industrial robots are undergoing a significant transformation. By 2025, it’s forecasted that cobots will account for about 10% of total industrial robot sales, a significant leap from the current 5%. This growth is projected to continue at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40% per year, with the cobot market expected to surpass the $5 billion mark by 2032.

Dr. Yunan Cao, the CEO of Elite Robots, expressed his excitement regarding this order from the new energy sector (the client’s main businesses include new energy vehicles, components and assembly of cell phones, rechargeable batteries, and photovoltaic cells, and for confidentiality reasons, its name cannot be disclosed), declaring, “This is great news for the entire cobotic industry, which confims the expansion of the collaborative robot market. I firmly believe that the entire ecosystem will gain more confidence in collaborative robots.

Elite Robots on the Rise

From Elite Robots’ standpoint, this order reinforces its standing as a top-tier cobot provider both domestically and globally. The company has consistently ranked in the top three among domestic cobot brands and has made significant progress internationally over the past two years. The company has established local branches in Europe, Japan, and America, while significantly expanding its customer and partner base.

Elite Robots secured this order due to its flexibility, professionalism, and wide range of models designed to meet the diverse needs of its customers. In contrast to some European competitors who offer no more than five cobot models with a maximum payload of 20 kg, Elite Robots currently boasts a portfolio of 37 cobots, with payloads of up to 25kg, reach up to 2000mm, and IP protection up to IP68.

The range also includes specialized models designed for specific tasks, such as the EC68-08 (8kg payload) for screwing operations, the EC64-19 (1900mm reach) for inspecting large objects, and the new high-speed CS-A Series, which is expected to hit the overseas market early next year.

Dr. Cao emphasized, “Winning this order affirms that Elite Robots is moving in the right direction by actively responding to market changes, focusing on constant product improvement, and expanding both domestically and overseas.”

This sentiment is echoed by Moritz Garroz Borelly, GM and Sales Director for Elite Robots North and South America, who stated, “In 2023, we have witnessed substantial growth across the entire American market, successfully completing major projects in the metal and automotive industries, both in the United States and the rapidly expanding Mexican market. Elite Robots is taking significant steps to expand the collaborative market space, and I believe it has the potential to elevate the entire industry to new heights.

Elite Robots’ recent milestone order and their unwavering commitment to innovation and expansion are indicative of the ever-increasing role of cobots in the manufacturing landscape. As large corporations turn to cobots for their production needs, the future of the collaborative robot industry seems brighter than ever.
